*Please keep an open mind regarding casting decisions.

You might be a great fit for a role you hadn't previously considered!

  1. Prepare using the audition materials provided in the section below.

  2. Upon arriving at your audition, check in to receive a headshot form to hand to the auditors. Introduce yourself with your name and grade, and let us know if you have prior theater experience.

  3. Review the Synopsis & Character List prior to your audition.

  4. Prepare a vocal selection to sing solo with a backing track (without vocal accompaniment): Girls: Prepare "Naughty" or "When I Grow Up." If auditioning for Trunchbull, prepare "The Hammer." Boys: Prepare "When I Grow Up."

  5. Choose and memorize one monologue from the choices provided below.

  6.  Ensure clear vocal projection throughout your performance.

  7. Watch the choreography video to learn the short dance combination required for auditions.

  8. Relax and have fun! We are looking for collaborative actors who are eager to learn, take direction, and support their fellow cast members.

Monologues

"The Big Adventure”

Okay, I know everyone thinks this is a terrible idea. But hear me out! What if nobody had ever tried anything because they were afraid it might go wrong? We’d never have airplanes, or roller coasters, or… chocolate chip cookies! Okay, maybe that last one doesn’t count.

But I’m tired of being the kid who always stays behind while everyone else has the adventure. This time, I’m going. I might be nervous—and I might have absolutely no idea what I’m doing—but I’m going anyway.

So… who’s coming with me?

"Just Give Me a Chance"

Wait! Before you say no, just give me one minute. I know I’m not the biggest, or the loudest, or the person everyone expects to choose. But that doesn’t mean I can’t do it!

I’ve been practicing. I’ve been watching. And I’ve been waiting for someone to finally give me a chance.

Maybe I’ll make a mistake. Actually… I’ll probably make a few! But I promise I won’t give up.

So, what do you say? Give me one chance, and I’ll show you what I can do!
