CLASSICAL SUMMER CAMP

There is no greater task for education than to teach children how to learn. Education is more than training children for a vocational career. Education establishes the lens through which a student sees the world.

 

We believe that education is inherently enjoyable for children. The classical method is based on the philosophy that students should be encouraged to do what they naturally enjoy during particular phases of their life so, in our summer camp, we just teach a love for learning.

The Summer Program at Sheridan Hills Christian School provides a fun and exciting opportunity for children from ages 2-12 to explore new skills and grow in the knowledge of God. Each camper can choose from a variety of activities taught by camp counselors and visiting experts. Academic and athletic skills are taught through the lens of a Biblical worldview. Campers discover new and different ways to declare God’s glory every day.
