In his book Art and the Bible, Francis A. Schaeffer wrote “A Christian should use these arts to the glory of God, not just as tracts, mind you, but as things of beauty to the praise of God. An art work can be a doxology in itself.”
Exposure to Art begins in Preschool with basic crafts. Our youngest students learn shapes and colors while communicating their world through artistic expression. All students grades Kindergarten through 6th grade have weekly Art classes. Junior High students (7th-8th) and High School students (9th-12th) may take Art as an elective. Students learn Art History as part of our commitment to Classical Christian Education.
Our students have excelled winning Best in Show at recent competitions. However, the true measure of Art cannot be found in ribbons but rather in its positive role developing expression and as a witness of God’s creation.
